What is the Genesis Lab DTS?
Genesis Lab is an invitation to go back to the beginning: to learn to know God more deeply, find your place in the Kingdom and bring the life, beauty and love of Jesus to this world.
It is not a spiritual retreat or a holiday. It is a 5-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) focused on innovation, art and creativity.
We want to train disciples of Christ who are ready to share the Gospel through what they create.

The Message does not change. It is the firm ground where we will plant new seeds.
But just as the Spirit was moving over the waters before creation, we look for new ways, through art, innovation and creativity, to know God and make Him known in a world that never stops changing.
Genesis Lab DTS 2027 in just over a minute (in Spanish).
How does it work?
Lecture phase
3 months in CáceresTo know God, His Word and His world more, and to let your creativity flourish in a community that loves Jesus. You will learn from teachers of different cultures, ages and backgrounds.
Get ready to learn how to:
- hear God's voice and know Him like never before
- partner with God through intercession
- understand your identity, your gifts and your calling
- live relationships and a sexuality that glorify God and reflect His love and beauty
- share the Gospel in ways this generation needs to see
- take part in what God is doing in your city, in the nations and across society
Outreach
2 months in the worldAfter the 3-month lecture phase, we go out into the world to be part of God's mission to restore all nations. It is time to put into practice what you learned, seeking the Kingdom of God in creative and innovative ways.
Your activities can vary a lot: sharing Jesus with someone at a festival, cleaning parks (or bathrooms!), sharing your testimony at a church, launching a tech or art project, or teaching workshops on AI or the arts.
Whatever you do, it is your chance to bless the nations alongside your team and the Holy Spirit.
What will you experience here?
You will make new friends and meet people who share your desire to create and innovate. You will live in a community that loves Jesus and learn to handle the challenges of sharing life with people who are different from you.
You will worship God with all your strength and sincerity, leave sin behind to live a holy life, and learn to read, understand and practise the Bible better.
Workshops and hands-on activities around the city will take you beyond the familiar: to take steps of faith and believe that God can speak and act through you.
When you clean the house or help cook a meal…
When you walk around the city or watch a movie on the sofa…
When you share the Gospel in another language or support a local church in another culture.
Every moment in the DTS is a chance to hear from God, serve others and grow in faith.

Meet the leader of this DTS
Hi! I'm André, from Brazil, and I've lived in Spain for 8 years.
I love discipleship, good conversations, specialty coffee and dark chocolate. I'm an artist: poetry, theatre and music (and the mix of all of them) help me reflect Jesus.
I did my DTS 13 years ago and it took my relationship with God to a new level. I love the DTS because God uses it to transform, launch and heal the people who take part. YWAM is a movement, not a monument!
At Genesis Lab, I pray that God shows us His ways, old and new, sets us free to fly without fear and to show God to the world in ways not yet seen.

If you can't pay the full cost, talk to the school leader and the base leadership at least one month before arriving in Cáceres.

The location of the 2-month outreach is not decided yet. We will seek God's direction and choose the best option, taking visas and permits into account.

What language are the classes in?
